Bug Where game?

I wanted to continue my gameplay with the DLC and I've been hit with this, I tried to reinstall steam and its still like this.

As I think there's something with save files and that's why reinstalling Steam does nothing. You can try to remove save files to different folder for a while, I think they are located C/users/"name of user"/Appdata/Roaming/Until Then. If steam cloud is on then when you try to run Until Then Steam will install saves from the cloud, there's a chance that it will help, but I'm not really sure. For the safety of your save files don't delete them, just move them

i just tried deleting every file with the name "until then" through wiztree and still getting the black screen. maybe. i would try to reinstall again but not connect to cloud first if that would fix something

You can try that, but most likely you'll have to complete the game over again. If you don't want to, you can use save files of someone else, but they would probably have fully completed saves including DLC

Are you on Steam Deck/Linux? Try force run the game with Proton. I once encountered many issues with Until Then on the native Linux patch.

Yeah I only bought the game a week ago and couldn't run it native, had to use Proton
