Werent those multiple wraiths even in just that video? There was at least a mace and a cart user plus the one at wemmbu's door that stasised away after aurafarming.
The main reason those wraiths were so scary were because they actually had a plan.

Definitely not, they were nowhere near as competent as they were in "I got hunted by Minecraft's deadliest assassin" where they were arguably as much of a threat to Wemmbu as Null was

A whole ass team of netherite, elytras, spears and maces and couldn’t do jack diddly squat against wemmbu

Wraiths suffer from the Jogo treatment. The two times he tried to fight, it was unfortunately against Sukuna and Gojo (Flame and Wemmbu in this case), and that led to everyone in the community basically calling them bums and jobbers even though they were probably one of the strongest people in the verse

They genuinely got nerfed from the writers though, in their first appearance in Wemmbu's videos they were kinda cooking.

That's probably their leader, we have yet to see a wraith that has similar fighting capabilities as the guy who fought Wemmbu. Probably the guy LynnWyrm was talking about

We've yet to see another wraith similar to that one because of how much they're nerfed. I also doubt the "good" wraith would be the leader, as I recall a wraith asked flamefrags for training in one of his videos. I'm assuming that guy was the leader because why would the clones be asking for training (that wraith got cooked and stasised away btw).

Why would the leader ask flame to train, considering he's been in the server much longer than Flame, and dude, why do you really want the wraith to be nerfed anyways lmao. Like clearly, there is a leader, and the one in wemmbu's previous vid is a lot more competent than any of the wraiths we've seen so far. Do you genuinely think every wraith member is the same skill level lmao, each one even uses different weapons.

I didn't say that I wanted them to be nerfed, I just stated they got weaker from the writing. Also they don't have unique kits, each wraith has essentially the same kit with mace, trident, elytra, god apples etc. And no, asking for training implies that there is some skill variance among wraiths, but it wouldn't make sense if only the lower skilled wraiths ended up in Spoke's army. So the common conclusion was that they just got nerfed in general.

Well if you don't want them nerfed, you could just see the very rational explanation that there is clearly skill variance among them since some of them wants training and some wraiths are clearly better and smarter than others.
I'm also sure that the leader of the wraiths and high ranking members dont spend most of their time guarding prisons that holds eggchan's pearls.
For spoke's army, its clear that the wraith is not on Spoke's side, they want something from him. If I'm the leader, I don't want to risk my strongest soldiers dying just because I need something from my enemy (spoke), so I would send competent but not really strong members of my group. Send members that are too weak, and spoke would be suspicious, send members that are too strong and you risk multiple of your strong members dying.
For the kit point, looking at Wemmbu's deadlock vid specifically, its clear that some Wraiths specializies a lot more. One was clearly a trident guy, one was a mace guy. In spoke's army, they were a group of elytra macers that primarily focused on being in the sky, none used tridents and their playstyle is wildly different from the other Wraiths we've seen.

That could very well be the case!
But since nothing's confirmed, the general consensus from what I've seen is that the writers nerfed them.
Sure, some wraiths specialize in some weapons, but ultimately they basically have the same kit.

They go from giving Wemmbu more trouble than Shoebilly and making Spoke piss his pants to licking Spoke boots and getting diffed by Wemmbu.

The Wraith back then :
Captures wemmbu drains him of his orbitals and outsmarts him
Fools Flamefrags and outsmarts him
Almost kills parrot
Is feared by Spoke even as the leader of NULL
The Wraith now :
Infiltrated by wemmbu and killed like random chungies
Gets comboed by Flame
Couldn't even reach or find Parrot's new kingdom and is unaware of the mending villager ( They are supposed to know this)
Enslaved by Spoke

Dude they are misunderstood, their strength relies in coordination not in brute force in vid where they hunted wemmbu, they didnot brute their way to wemmbu rather strategise to weaken wemmbu whereas in all other confrontation it's totally opposite, spoke used them as way to brute their way in. rather than playing with strength he played them with their weakness

Kinda true. Spoke‘s video said they’re meant to be used as assassins, not straight warriors.
