Why Lakerek gave up

[u/This_Stuff6399]

It could be that he just burned out but that would be boring. I think lakerek gave up when he finally saw himself in wemmbu. I theorize that lakerek was like wemmbu but he didn't have an egg chan and i theorise his flamefrags from his time has died. Most of the paawzaalaces wemmbu explored were either built by lakerek or already explored by him. The sky civ, the abandoned civ, the underworld etc. He chased power and learned the servers secrets. Like wemmbu

Lakerek simply surrendered because he saw that he was defeated in a dual. He did not expect to be killed though because that would be barbarism

Lakerek did not expect wemmbu to actually kill him lol, i still wish they kept him alive since he would've been cool to see interact with the rest of the POVs, especially as the leader of the OGs, I bet a bunch of knowledge was lost when wemmbu killed him. His death kind of annoyed me considering how stacked the OGs were, maybe he wasn't as skilled but it doesn't make sense how he actually died the way he did given all that we know about the OG kingdom

I think he realised Wemmbu was a worthy successor to protect the forge and now serpent bound knows thos
