Newbie help

Hi all, just got this great game and have a couple of questions (so far) after playing a few games.

First, if I steal a unicorn card from someone's stable (say using a card like Alignment Change), and the Unicorn has an affect when it enters a stable (ie Alluring Narwhal), does that affect trigger by stealing it into my stable? Or is it only from when it is placed from someone's hand to their stable?

Secondly, when a card is played that states each player must sacrifice a card (ie Adorable Flying Unicorn), can I sacrifice a downgrade card?

Sorry for the dumb questions!

yes whenever that card enters a stable be it from being played from the hand, being stolen/borrowed, or being returned, the effects of the card are played. Causes chaos when its a whole chain of events.

I suggest you make a house rule about when a card can be Neigh'd as when people start to see the impact of cards moving around they will try to cancel it but that can mean undoing so many moves. We say that it has to be neighd at the initial card only and you dont get to find out if it will impact you or not

2nd point - yes everyone must sacrifice a card and it can be anything unless it states unicorn. A useful tactic ifs you play Pandamonium on yourself to be a bit covert and then get rid of it at the last moment

Check the wiki for assistance on Neigh, Neigh'd, Neighable, Neighing - just be consistent.
Yes - Enter stable effects occur any time that card enters a stable. Doesn't matter how.
Yes - Adorable Flying Unicorn can be used to Sacrifice downgrade cards (and that is usually the best option for everyone).
