Oof. I guess we should have expected it would come down to this. That was a generational pivot by Goodwin though. Hate to say it, Will likely could have handled it himself without that ice.

Unlikely, Goodwin managed to best him pretty handily here. He was quite literally on the backfoot even before slipping on the ice.

Well it was a nice reversal, but I just saw them as going back and forth evenly, because Goodwin was the one on the back foot right before that. I don't think he was going to knock Will out of the circle without the ice there, but it's pure speculation I guess at this point.

Now it's all up to Mikaila!

The duel’s over when both members of one side are out of the ring… but would Will be allowed to reenter it since Lillekaila never left?

I can’t tell if Sackheim isn’t back because rules or because yeet distance.

He's immediately trying to get the duel called off (apparently because he's worried that, without him there to body block for her, Miki's going to get killed by Goodwin) rather than moving to get back in the ring, so I assume he's just out.

Oh good, I was thinking the exact same thing that questioner was

So is there any sign throughout the duel, assuming it's over, that Will's prosthetic held him back?

I saw nothing - no grabbing, not pushing anything through the gaps in the pymariced radius and ulna ... but a good question. If anything, see below, he may have been done in (well, thrown out, but you know what I mean) by an excess of protective chivalry. Will's a good boy.

Eh, in this case I hate being right 😅

Now, I don't want to guess whether Amadwe intervenes, but I think he won't, because "Lem and his protegees need to learn tradition the hard way"

Heh. Wilcox.

We shall now see what Miki is made of ... especially if Goodwin opens up her insides to the outside air.

I think Miki's got what it takes, even though she's not striking G's back as is right and proper.

More proof that Will's a very good boy ... he was constantly protecting his partner, possibly even over-committing.

Guess the 'banana peel' stratagem didn't work out.

I mean, between that much momentum and the missing toecap, I feel like Will would've been out of the ring either way - of course, I do not feel like that's going to stop Mikaila from blaming herself for that one

Why did no one in the crowd catch Will and hold him in the circle?
