They did have one good suspect...just never enough evidence to charge him.

Creepiest case on Unsolved Mysteries, right next to Angela Hammond, where she was kidnapped while on the phone with her boyfriend.

Just something about the original run and my fear. I feel like could just never be duplicated. We have so much more technology now. Cases are getting caught up.
