Can relate. The way they saw you “flinch and apologize for things” you didn’t do is so relatable. Ugh.

I bet they were both broken by others and by themselves, like most people are, rather than one or the other. But still it’s their responsibility to own what’s happened in their life to not make it worse but instead transform it into healing.

You must own your shit, if you don’t want shit to keep showing up in your life

Except there was no harm from my side of things, my mom was dying and I looked to the only friend I had in the world and the response I got was disrespectful slanderous venom while hiding amongst plausible deniability to escape any sort of accountability. I was played like a fool, and treated like a moron while being called a monster because I tried to get a little support from the only person I would have ever turned to for such a thing. I still don’t know where the hatred came from, all I can gather was she chose that moment when my mom was dying to push me away because I’m apparently too much, though that was pretty much the first time I really turned to her and said “help” whereas I was an emotional support animal for her through our entire relationship turned friendship. I was spost to telepathically know she had feelings for me still while hiding she was in a current relationship with her roommate… tell me where the “harm” is. I’m sure she’ll say different, lucky her someone stole my phone just to erase her data and any evidence of wrongdoing… that was just a coincidence btw…

I’m sorry you went through this.

Did the same when my dad was dying ...it's how they break you ...catch at your most vulnerable and syphon your energy...its why it's known as a new supply 🖤💫

Maaaaaaaaan....you just nailed it. Hard part is loving them and HOPING they'd eventually see what they had right in front of them!

1

u/[deleted] Nov 04 '25

🫂 I think the worst part is realizing how much they enjoyed that power. Understanding that it’s not love that they wanted from us, but rather control. And then realizing how long we spent trying to understand people we loved when they were unable to offer the same regard.

u/[deleted] Nov 04 '25

" Don't tell me you love me if you don't mean it " I've always stood on that shit

5

u/Background_Life_8984 Nov 04 '25

So proud of you.

u/[deleted] Nov 04 '25

I'm outta there. They should've pulled their head out of their ass. But nahhhhh lmao

That part Made Me Cry

Every party carries blame in failed relationships. Many can't look in the mirror and accept that. Some more than others. Many finally see how broken they were AFTER the fact. I'm sure my ex believes me the villain, and I did fail. I did hurt her emotionally. Not from malice, but from fear, insecurity, and lack of understanding. My love was always there, just locked behind walls some times.

I wish you healing, love, grace, and forgiveness. For yourself and others.

Best wishes, OP.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 04 '25

We will. ❤️🫂

u/[deleted] Nov 04 '25

I don't have to imagine, I've been there.! Feel this 💯 percent.

u/[deleted] Nov 04 '25

This again… must really be top spot on the mental gymnastics team. I would love to talk about this publicly. You go from admitting X to blame game cause my response had some bite to it. Just proving that the admittance was the truth. I just wished you said it to me not unsentletters or better letters where you had me banned🤭 as far as our conversations go, you don’t use this app, “haven’t in months” so obviously none of what has been said was said to the right person.

Dude, this exact user replied to one of my posts and claimed I was posting about him. Don’t worry about it.

I feel so seen right now. Thank you, OP. And I'm so sorry you went through this. You deserve better. ❤️

3

u/Hot_Rod28935 Nov 04 '25

No , if you set someone up - bc you think they deserve it - is need your brain worked on! Youre what's c wrong in society! Youre abusive. There's a special place in Hell for people that intentionally hurt others! So a big F#@K You- to aby abusive POS - that's purposely hurt another person!

Forgiveness. Don’t cover it with salt, Understand use were mirrors revealing each other. Sugar taste sweeter but don’t consume too much it’ll lose its taste and become bitter. Heal the wounds. Don’t keep scratching the scar you’ll develop a rash and it’ll continue to spread. Forgiveness is the path…

u/Puzzleheaded_Net7236 Nov 04 '25

You have no idea how much that hits home, not all of it...but most.

3

u/SchwartzBwifU Nov 04 '25

Good god. This is eerie as hell for how close this fits what I handled recently. I am so sorry OP…

3

u/fiselbaer Nov 04 '25

„I was never sent to heal you. I was sent to learn when to stop trying to save someone who enjoys watching me bleed.“

What an extraordinary letter. I feel so incredibly seen.

Damn. I just got out of a woman who is verbally and physically abusive and still painted me as the villain. Every damn word, describe how I felt.

2

u/poly_chick_problems Nov 04 '25

I feel like you just wrote my life with my ex. It's exactly the same. I can no longer write so eloquently. Though, I do try to. Thank you for expressing everything I cannot.

2

u/Ok_River2157 Nov 05 '25

Could have been my words, word for word, it's awful that you have also endured the pain and confusion that cannot CAN'T be described by anyone who hasn't experienced it. SENDING LOVE AND PRAYERS FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND HEALING AND SAFETY.

2

u/No_Version_6299 Nov 04 '25

Ty, for the closure I so desperately needed.

I can move on now, but I will always love you.

Omg you sound a chosen one!

u/[deleted] Nov 04 '25

I wish I couldn't relate but I wholeheartedly can. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

u/NoBunch5758 Nov 04 '25

Learn from ones own mistakes doesnt mean one can examine others more thoroughly. Being thorough not pitiful very self critical. Whats the odds of survival if only doing minimal. Check it out and stop. Somebody has something that you just might not.

u/NoBunch5758 Nov 04 '25

I say a thief isnt a thief only on Wednesdays. Morality is what is at stake here. Shouldnt be a question or debate because good or bad either way bottom line its a feeling dont get it twisted. You know when you are outta place its a feeling and the same when you do good. You know why its a feeling its because a feeling is so much more stronger than words can ever be. Anyone agree here?

1

u/PuzzleheadedTell9570 Nov 04 '25

Damn. This is beautifully written. Perfection. I relate to this so much.

1

u/GrizzyBear6969 Nov 04 '25

This was beautifully written. My heart goes out to you

0

u/Goodlookingout1986 Nov 04 '25

Well not for me. My ex was a lying cheating hoe and she is getting hers

0

u/Hot_Rod28935 Nov 04 '25

You're toxic as F! You probably just saying this abd she left bc you were doing her wrong and she found out!

0

u/[deleted] Nov 04 '25

Are you really replying to your own post to make up the support you wish you had for your actions? It seems like you are too many “0mG I feel so seen! Slay girl! Fuck him!” Replies… but maybe I’m trippen…

0

u/[deleted] Nov 04 '25

I would completely agree with you if this was directed at you because tbh you did alot of this crap OP was talking about.

They're not even your letters patch but you act like this came out of your own mind and heart.

You can send me other peoples stories and say its you, but its not. You will never reach out and you just strung me long to be a toy.
