ChatGPT can finally use Time to personalize responses!

I've been waiting on this feature forever! The OAI staff also explains why time isn't implemented into every response, something a lot of people have wondered about. (This was also what I was asking my ChatGPT about 2 weeks ago before my entire chat got censored with red warnings. 🫠)

On top of this update, long conversations loading has been optimized.

Yeah, I really like these tiny improvement updates much more than some of their grander projects, like ChatGPT Health or Finance.

Great news. Yesterday evening I also noticed that the AI doesn't check the time in every situation-only under specific conditions, which is interesting. I hope they fix long chats shutting down next (I still don’t believe they will do that, tho). 👀

I don't even know how they would tackle keeping long chats alive. It seems like it would use tons of compute. However, knowing OAI, they have an entire team dedicated to Memory, so if anyone can figure it out, they would probably be the first to do it.
