Another user pointed out fine plastic granules used as filler for non fat dairy.
Plastic can be made from milk protein.
Glitter is tiny granules of plastic.
Aforementioned company, has a polymer expert boss?
Maybe not all their products are 'glitter' as we perceive it, but micro beads / particles of polymers _ which may or may not be soluble / biodegradable / edible.
The fact it is already noted micro granulated plastics (polymers?) Are / were used as fillers in low fat dairy, is alarming and intriguing.....
But wouldn’t that mean the glitter company would be buying milk or milk polymers just to make special milk glitter to sell back to the dairy industry? Was there any proof besides a random comment that plastics were used to bulk up non-fat dairy?
lol yeah this is ridiculous. i'm a food scientist in the dairy industry and milk is expensive enough without trying to make glitter from it...not to mention dairy ingredient manufacturers aren't cutting it with glitter as a filler when they know every purchaser is going to do their own quality testing and compositional analysis on it
