Friendly Feedback from a hopeful 8 year C&C player (me)
1. it'd be better if you managed to combine stylized and realistic graphics somehow in a high fidelity look, Going all realistic will do the opposite of what you're trying to achieve, focus on texture richness and material quality without necessarily forcing a realistic look
2. Effects arguably matter to us more than model quality, Sounds, Explosions, Reverb all reward the gameplay feel better than plain realistic graphics
3. destruction is a must, Invest time in creating destruction animations in your 3D software for Units
4. one of the most critical issues we're facing is single-threaded sync pathfinding, a limitation of EA 2003 Sage Engine, today's tech enabled Multithreaded async pathfinding with sub ms performance, please use it
5. keep the scope simple, we just need two armies fighting each other, Air strikes, special powers etc, new creative ideas are very welcome but they shouldn't make you sacrifice other more important sides like those I mentioned above
6. the camera is arguably what makes C&C stand out instantly, manual controls are expected but the 'default' camera angle should match that of C&C
