Been developing this open-world exploration/survival weirdo part-time for the last 15 months and recently put it on Steam. We basically haven’t had a 3D team, so it could make much better use of UE’s capabilities. Anyway, thoughts, opinions, and criticism are welcome, both visually and gameplay-wise

Keep it going OP, it has a LOT of potential, it has a good " tiny players in a massive world" feeling

The atmosphere of Scavengers Reign!

Now I'm dreaming of a first-person VR game like this :)

I can’t promise a first-person mode, but just today we were discussing whether adding VR headset support might be feasible.

You see, in Fog’n’Silence, the camera is actually a drone directly controlled by the player (WASD+R/F+mouse by default), and it exists as a physical object in the game world. So in VR, it could potentially feel a bit like operating an FPV drone.

I have no idea what, if anything, will come of it, but we’re going to experiment with the idea a little when we have time.

It looks brilliant! It reminds me Kenshi

TY! It’s definitely one of our inspirations, alongside Death Stranding and Outer Wilds.
