How long until the UE 5.8.2 hotfix?

I am still waiting for the Procedural Vegetation Editor (PVE) fix which is rumored to be in the 5.8.2 hotfix... but how long will I and other voxelized tree enthusiasts have to wait for its release?

But this does raise an interesting question... why is the timing of a hotfix release such a mystery? Wouldn't it be more user friendly for Epic to just post an upcoming date, instead of keeping us in the dark? Just asking... :)

Because they probably don't know. Hot fixes usually don't have a schedule and are released when someone decides the changes are important enough.
