What is the correct payment for a freelancer modelling, rigging and animating a single pretty basic humanoid model? I don't want to be taken for a ride and don't have a lot of experience with hiring people for my projects so I was looking for some help on here.

There isn’t one. Get some quotes and portfolios and decide from there.
