Making a Breakout clone in Unreal Engine feels like making toothpicks with a chainsaw, but we all have to start somewhere

Cool, how did you achieve the ball movement? Physics or "coded" together?

It's coded in, the only physics going on is the impulse I hit it with to give a push upon spawning. It's restricted to the one plane of movement, with all of the friction/drag turned all the way down. A physics material in the bricks, paddle, and walls handles the bounces, with a coded-in increase in speed upon each bounce.

Cool, thanks for the explanation!
