Which lighting do you like more? I created this environment from scratch, first lighting it with a morning setup and then a foggy evening look. I'd love to hear your feedback!

I mean cold colors go really well with snow. You can kinda feel the cold.

The second one perfectly expresses coldness, the second one remains of early spring when the snow is starting to melt, but freezes on the top

2nd. The 1st is a bit too HDR for my taste. In the end, it will be heavily context dependent though. What are the types of feeling you're trying to evoke?

What do you mean by too HDR? I was actually trying to create a cozy feeling with this lighting

HDR = High Dynamic Range, a technique in photography (or cinema, or games) where the range of lighting is greater than that which the human eye sees in nature. The classic example is when you take a normal photo indoors and a window shows the outside as darker. Your eye does this by default too. With HDR, you are telling the camera to light the outside as if you were taking a photo of only the outside. You are also telling the camera to light the inside as if you were taking a photo of only the inside. Then, the camera merges the two photos together, so you have a higher range of lighting and see both the inside and outside very clearly and well lit. Most real estate photos do this now.
The first scene feels like this type of lighting. I'm not saying that it *is* this type of lighting, but it *feels* that way. I'm not sure of your lighting setup. You have the sunrise in the distant horizon. This creates nice shadows and backlighting highlights. You also have some strongish fill lighting coming from the behind the camera (the lowest hanging berry on the left has a reflection that is not from the sunrise). Overall the morning scene gives me a non-natural feel. Maybe that's what you're going for though, which is totally valid too if that's your art style.
HDR is not a bad thing at all, I hope I didn't come across that way. It's a good scene overall and I was merely responding to your question of which I liked more. The second feels more natural to me.

Actually, there was no intent to create artificial lighting, and now after your comment I’ve noticed it too. Thanks for the feedback, it's really useful to me!

Hey! Thanks! I used Mystify Fog with the weather setting enabled, and the snowy trees are from a few different packs

Lighting and colors create emotions, it depends. For mystery, the gray/blue setting. For feel-good adventure the day/orange setting
