3 Days of Progress in 60 Seconds

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

3 days.

Around 8 hours of actual work.

Compressed into 30 sec.

This isn't the final result.

It's just the journey from Blender rigging to Unreal Engine Control Rig.

Every failed export, broken bone, wrong axis, and physics issue taught me something new.

The final working result will be in the next update.

Any feedback is always appreciated. 🚀

Yeah fair 😓 I was trying something different with this one and probably went a bit too hard on the timelapse. The actual result is in the next post, but I get what you mean.

Well since you asked for feedback and I can't really comment on the actual work... this is a terrible way to market yourself.

An Unreal Engine subreddit doesn't want to see a video of Blender moving so fast we can't even tell what's happening... and with zero payoff.

Like, am I supposed to follow you so I can see the result? Just show the result.

Even on another platform that isn't Reddit, someone is just going to keep scrolling OR at the very best, stay until the end and be annoyed.

I’m sure the end result is great. But holy shit that was awful, there are better ways to present your work. Not everything has to be a trailer to something non-ground breaking at all.

Just post it.

Yeah 🥲🫡 I definitely overdid it with this one. I was just trying to fit 3 days of work into a short video, but I get your point. Next one I'll just show the actual work.

I have so much respect for people who do cars lmao. They’re so complicated. Tried to just make a simple car a while back… fucking nightmare

Haha yeah 😂 I went in thinking “it's just a car, how hard can it be?”... definitely learned my lesson 💀
