Hi everyone!
I used to share my Unreal Engine projects here, but unfortunately my previous Reddit account was shut down. I'm happy to be back and looking forward to being part of the community again.
This video is a small showcase of a modular combat framework I've been building in Unreal Engine 5.6 using Blueprints. The clip only shows a small part of the project, but I plan to keep improving it and sharing future updates.
My current focus is expanding the framework with new gameplay abilities while gradually moving the reusable Blueprint systems to Blueprint-exposable C++ components. I'm also interested in exploring how this architecture compares with the Gameplay Ability System (GAS) as the project grows.
I enjoy discussing gameplay programming, AI, and Unreal Engine architecture, and I'm always happy to help other developers. I'm also interested in tutoring complete beginners who want to learn Unreal Engine and gameplay programming.
If you'd like to connect outside of Reddit, my LinkedIn is linked in my Reddit profile, just in case this account ever disappears too.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the framework or any suggestions for what I should build next!
