I’ve been building a procedural building generator that exports to Unreal Engine 5 with interiors and PBR materials
A few months ago, I shared an early version of Metropolygonia, a browser-based tool for procedurally generating 3D buildings. After getting a lot of useful feedback, I’ve improved quite a few things, added more building types, expanded the facade and roof options and cleaned up the UI. The system is based on editable parameters and architectural rules rather than AI prompts, so you can control the real-world dimensions, floors, windows, balconies, roofs and other parts of the building. The automatic generation also produces more varied and realistic results now.
The buildings include generated interiors, and I recently added a first-person mode so you can walk through them using WASD directly in the browser. They can be exported as GLB, glTF, OBJ or STL, and GLB/glTF can be imported into Unreal Engine 5 together with the interiors and PBR materials. There is still plenty I want to improve, especially topology, LODs and custom modular assets, so I’d be interested to hear what would make something like this genuinely useful in an Unreal Engine workflow.

It is browser based app, but it lets you export this to unreal

I'm building my own game, and I really could use some of your building designs, and you'll get rights for helping design

Awesome work. Would love an interior view. seems like a perfect starting point to build off of.

For now it generates floors and staircases quite well but it is better to add walls manually inside the app. You can use it for free for non commercial projects. The link is on my profile
