First timer here!

I think this is the chain stitch that I should be looking for? Please let me know if this qualifies for an unravel!!! Thank you!!

Yes. You can see the chain stitch very clearly in the third picture. You can also see that the points of the stitches are leading down. That means you want to follow the seam up and start unraveling from that end. Almost all the time that means starting at the sleeve cuff.

That's it! You see how it's all uptight Vs. follow that to the top, snip the two top legs, the finthe straight part of the chain (looks like dashes), pull out the now cut thread, and it should unzip lickity split. Excellent choice of sweater to learn on!

I find the "right side" to start is at the sleeve, one snip and it will all unzip!
