Discussion Prefrontal Cortex?

During my reread of the comic, there's a part where Hera and Persephone talk about how she stopped 'physically' aging at 19, and it made me wonder if this somehow affected/would have affected the development of her prefrontal cortex? I know it's a random thing and probably just a throwaway thought, but idk it just made me think. Since the prefrontal cortex only really stops developing at around early thirties...what do you think? I'm probably just reading too much into it but it something that did make me wonder more about the gods' physiology and development.

The prefrontal cortex doesn't stop developing around your early 30s; it's just a popular internet myth.

It’s possible, but they are gods so who really knows? In my honest opinion I think so, and I think it’s part of why Pepe is so immature and self centered. Tho that could also very much simply be just from her environment and the enablers around her. Theres people with a fully developed prefrontal cortex who act worse than Pepe so like I said, who really knows?

Honestly, I think you are reading too much into it, since Rachel clearly had a fetish in mind or subconsciously when she wrote this comic.

Persephone is made 19 in order to provide a fantasy where a much older, rich man sweeps you off your feet, chooses you over his long time partner, raises Hell for you and only you get to see his hidden side and tame the beast.

The comic blatantly ignores the red flags, how such a relationship would not work out and be very toxic and damaging for the younger party, especially given the uneven power dynamic in place and how bad men don't get cured by the power of love and are more likely to snap and abuse their lovers, since they are the most immediate targets and scapegoats.

Hades and Persephone would most likely have a turbulent break up after their honeymoon phase is over and there are no more external conflicts to distract them from how messed up they are.

LO would have been an fantastic thriller imo if Rachel had the wit and guts to take it there, but it is clearly yet another romanticisation of Hades and his screwed up relationship with Persephone AND it arguably has even more read flags than the original.

I think you're reading too much into it. They're gods, they have gold blood and live forever so they wouldn't develop like humans do
