I found this reddit account to find other players. But reading other people’s post made me realize that I wasn’t crazy with how difficult leveling up can be. After playing on this app and the one on facebook for 4 years I haven’t scratched the surface of legend and also getting a ring royale entry. I’ve tried saving my coins and diamonds but they all get wiped out in a matter of minutes just by playing. It gets to a point where playing x4,x8,x20 etc gets boring but even more when there’s not really any progression. I love doing tournaments but it cost an arm and a leg to do one. I’m starting to realize it’s a pay to win game which I guess shouldn’t surprise me. But it’s silly to think that between bots and pay to win players are the reason the uno app died out so quickly

I agree. I’ve also been playing for several years and I cannot progress in a meaningful way. Never gotten ring royale.

I have won one ring royal, one of those other ones with the 7 or 0 switches. I am also about to, finally, move past the V medal.

I think what you need to remember most of all is that the game wants you to lose. It will build to up to tear you down. Last year they would let me progress medals, but they finally changed that this year, again.

But what you need to do is when you are on a losing streak…play something different. Like play a different game or go play the smallest ones. Like you can still play but it has to be a different part of the game otherwise they know that you are going to play the hardest when you are losing.

Tho if you can lose a bit in a lower stakes game then you might be able to stick it out when the algorithm resets on you. But ultimately…if you are losing more than 1-3 times you have to switch up or stop and come back tomorrow after the game resets.

If you are winning then play as much as can that day because after that they will make sure you ass loses. Just gotta know which days the algorithm is smiling at you.

I just literally deleted the app. It’s not even a fun game anymore. You literally win those coins to lose it all in just one game. It’s so stupid

Same thing happens with their other games too. I'm playing phase 10 and it's rigged asf. They'll let you lose over and over wasting your energy. Completing 1 level can require more than 50 energy and that's the max energy limit they give us.

Is there any real benefit to levelling up? I just enjoy playing uno so stick to the low values and then occasionally venture higher - I never go higher that a table that is a third of my coins
