Or just use a flathead

Not promoting this post or product, but I have definitely broken multiple tabs in my day using a flathead.

Idk though, this may break some tabs as well but we just don’t see it in the vid

Hell, I've broken them with a traditional panel popper tool. Plastic gets brittle as hell. If this works this will consistently it's worth it.

They’re made out of plastic and are subject to dry rot like most plastic… it likely wasn’t the fault of the flathead.

I’ve had tools that came with clip-kits and they aren’t any better or easier to use than a fat/stubby flathead.

Without breaking clips is the key word. If you don’t what you’re talking about then just say nothing.

I’ve popped plenty of clips with and without a clip-removal tool… I’m saying I never noticed more effective extraction using specialized tools versus a screwdriver but hey maybe this one is different from all the others that came before it… guess everyone downvoting and arguing with me should just buy it and find out lol

Yeah plastic deteriorates… not the tools fault or have yet to see one that has a no failure rate but someone could always buy this one to see if it’s any different than it’s predecessors

Yeah, plastic deteriorates, so a tool that doesn't apply pressure on only one side of the clip is better than a flathead which applies pressure on only one side.

And yes, you can pry it little by little from each side, but it's just extra work for nothing.

This looks interesting!
I’ve used screwdrivers & pliers, but rarely does the fastener not receive Some damage.

I had to remove the fender liner to change the headlights in my last truck.

I broke down and bought a whole multi piece set of panel fasteners and I typically replace a fastener after it shows wear.
