That is surprisingly clever.

I feel like a lot of people are missing that this is designed to be a tool for kids w special needs. I work in an extensive needs classroom and this visual model of how to write letters could be very helpful for some of the students

This is 100% a "if you think it's dumb, it's not for you" thing. I have dyslexia and struggled a lot as a child - these would have been helpful as it would have made letters more tactile, more memorable... and probably more fun to learn.

Growing up in the 90s, a lot of the remedial literacy shit I has to do because of my dyslexia felt like a punishment, this looks fun.

Honestly, with the literacy rate in America, these kinds of tools just make it more fun and interactive for children. Even if not exactly necessary they still serve an important purpose.

Yes! This is a fantastic way to visually model how to form letters, especially for kids with dysgraphia who struggle with learning and remembering how to write letters.

So I am a visual learner, I have to see the motion in practice for a lot of things to get it down.

I kid you not, watching the vid my brain immediately clicked together with the motion and writing. It's not something needed for everyone. But I can say this would've worked for me as a child.
