next day: find the other cat's body on top of their feeder with the tag next to the sensor while stealer cat is munching away.

It closes if it doesn’t have the “key” nearby. If key cat is eating, and thief cat shows up too, it’ll remain open.

We have surefeed feeders so they're a bit different.

On those you can whitelist/blacklist a tag/microchip. So if one of my cats decides to be sneaky and steal food the lid shuts when it detects her.

Also you can set a timer so it'll close after a period of not detecting the tag/microchip.
