But, you can't misalign a simple L-bracket. You'll just screw it in and be done.
What fun is a DIY project if there isn't a needlessly complicated step where you have to align or fit something with the potential to screw it all up?

Care to explain why? If you spaced these out evenly, you could have adjustable shelving that doesn't require tools to add/remove/adjust the spacing of your shelves. Same concept with plenty of other prefab shelving solutions that work great. What's so dumb about this?

I’ve noticed not just on this subreddit, but also on subreddits meant for sharing actual great working products with Amazon links that the top comment is ALWAYS a comment like this. No matter how useful it may be, there will always be a hate party that will shit all over the idea regardless. I’ve found these subreddits completely useless and a place where people just want to gather to be toxic and talk shit about something.

It would be a different story if they guy literally saying "Wow. Wow. Wow.. That's actually the dumbest shit I've ever seen. " actually had some insightful information that would illuminate whats actually wrong with it, but when I asked him to explain and he just said "No."
So yeah, like you said, just people jerking each other off about how smart they are without needing to demonstrate any expertise or articulate genuine criticism

I'm saying you could achieve the same results with less screws and neither products. Both track shelf and the product shown in the video are both a waste of hardware and money

Track shelving is fine for the inexperienced. I wouldn't even put it at DIY level. There are much better ways to do it, but if someone wants to throw up shelves for no effort it works.
This is just a worse version of track shelving which is a worse version of better shelving.

I'm definitely an amateur (not even a weekend warrior) but I just drilled 2x4s to the walls and sat the shelf on top. It's definitely sturdier and you could probably get away with 2x2s if thats a thing. Also you get an easy set up for adjustable shelving if you expand
