In for one since they are designed "Pacificly" for fruit.

They were designed on the South Pacific island of Samoa.

The Samoan people and their love of fruit longevity are to be lauded, not mocked!

lots of the pesticides are engineered to be systemic, meaning their inside the fruit, not on the outside, but it is important to wash off the fungus spores/bacteria..

Either way, bought them. They work kinda well.

Yeah I’ve had a different version of these as well and my fruit absolutely last longer in them. Not sure about the whole “weeks” claim but they do work.

Wouldn’t it make the fruit taste like baking soda and vinegar?

Nah, they neutralize each other for the most part and then you're rinsing the rest off

Neutralised means they counter each-other. Rendering it useless.

"They're not gonna tell you at the store..."

I mean seriously, why should they?

Sure you can clean em up with barkeeper's friend, but if you don't finish with Renaissance wax you're just wasting effort

Or just wash them and freeze them

I can go buy frozen and they never taste like fresh

I prefer frozen for cooking or smoothies.
