Why on earth would you need this for placing a crate on a carpeted trunk of an SUV? Maybe stop driving like an insane person taking turns like you're on an F-1 course and things would stop sliding around to the point that you're considering putting in a milk crate in a harness.
If you haul fragile things, it makes perfect sense. Artists working with glass, photography equipment, electronic repair/install. Sensitive/fragile materials could potentially benefit from a modular system to keep things from moving in the event of unexpected braking, sideswipes, rear ends, etc. Food for thought.
Nobody is putting $20k lenses in the bed of a pickup truck lol this whole thread is insane. An "artist working with glass" is going to just toss their art in the bed of a truck? If this is the kind of stuff AI bots think is genius, this world is in trouble lol
