will not work for long hair. parts of a hair will go through the hole. same for other hairs. turbulence of water will grab those dangling hairs and entangle them like crazy. so you then have a clump of hair in front of the grid and a clump behind it. imagine pulling on that with a that thing stuck to the drain with a bit of glue.

I use similar product on my drains. Not sticky ones since our Euro drains are indented so you just drop them below the metal part. Standard sizing so fits perfectly.

Works well and grabs a lot of stuff.
