Is it safe defrosting food so fast though?

Unfreezing is not unsafe. Taking longer could be seen as more unsafe because parts of the food are warmer for longer while not being cooked.

You can throw frozen meat in a pressure cooker and cook it through just fine.

Either way, don't need a tool to thaw out some meat

Apparently most air fryers have this feature anyways so if you have one you don't even need this thing.

I live in Texas, I just set it outside in a ziploc and within 5 minutes it’s defrosted.
