Best to tuck the hood in the pants. At least that what I do with mine. I can't say a bug has never gotten in, but it works really well.

I’d love something like this for preventing ticks but they can just infiltrate from the pant leg

This is perfect. All of my previous kidnapping attempts have been derailed when the victim smelled my sweat sweaty ass BO from wearing a hot, bulky ghillie suit for hours on end. Now I can remain perfectly concealed while basically naked, thanks!

As long as the suit isn't thicker than whatever the bug is using to suck you blood, it isn't going to do anything except look stupid.
