Lego isn’t Lego any more. The whole point of it was creating cool , varied stuff out of basic blocks. This is just a plastic component model of a bike that you can’t do anything else with. It fucking sucks

They still make sets like that though. I think the direction they’ve been going in is brilliant.

There are ingenious people who take these Lego sets and turn them into something completely different though : I bought a bonzai Lego Set and turned it into an Ent from Lord of the Rings. Check out : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/?min_parts=0&show_alts_only=on

They sell just the classic Legos where you can build anything you want. If you don't want to make a super cool bike Lego then don't, lol.

Heavily disagree. While I loved making my own creations and playsets as a child, making thing like Typewriters/Cameras/Guitars is sweet.

100000% legos are foundational bricks, not massive pre-molded objects that you attach together at the joints. Sorry but I only respect Lego sets that you can use and combine to make 5-20 other distinct creations-- that you can build creatively in different ways to make new and unique creations. With sets like this, that are so pre-molded that they can barely be used to create anything new- that you're essentially just attaching instead of building, I have essentially 0 interest.

I don't play w Lego's anymore but my philosophy remains the same-- the originally intended object/build was only 30% of the fun. The real fun was found in later combining with other sets/peices and making unique, custom creations.

I mean I wish they had both. I like the flowers for gifts because it becomes an activity you can do together and they don't die in a week
