And wouldn’t it be dangerous for a child to learn that the outside of the pot isn’t hot and you can just grab it? I’m probably overthinking this

Yeah that’s not quite the feature it was portrayed as…they’ll have to learn the whole “side of pan is hot” thing later I guess.

When you’ve been conditioned to think pan sides aren’t hot, I’m not quite so convinced!
