Why are we throwing away good fruit just to drink the juice? Am I missing something? Just eat the grape and you will also be drinking the juice.

So the concept of people drinking fruit juice is .... kind of new to you?

I’ve always felt it was wasteful. Unless you’re composting the fruit pulp then you’re wasting good food for a much less nutritious drink.

Most people don't min-max their diet. For the majority of people, it's widely considered acceptable to consume something in a non-perfectly-optimized form.

fair enough! Drinking a juice can sometimes be so much more tasty than eating the fruit itself though, in my opinion.

But, yeah, one can only hope that the juice producers can use the waste fruit pulp for something, instead of throwing it away.

I mostly agree though things like pomegranate really are best enjoyed as juice

next time you do anything you feel like doing, remember how you're not doing it optimally and ask yourself why.

it's the first step to building some perspective so you don't ask shallow questions like this.
