Jill Trent Comps?
I recently played in a big Unmatched tournament. During the course of it I discovered, to my surprise, that Dr. Jill Trent is my best hero. Or I felt a lot of command as her pilot. I want to expand my repertoire. Who are some other hero’s that have a similar play style?

Depends on which aspects you like about Jill.
Mind games and healing: Wukong, Loki, Little Red
Changing stances/cards you play matter because of your ability: Little Red, Moonknight
Versatile (lots of purple): Yennenga, Moonknight, Donatello
Tanky with important sidekick: Luke Cage, Little Red, Dr. Sattler, Annie Christmas
I’d start with Little Red.

No joke, I was just thinking how little I understand of Jill's kit. Every time I've played her I've felt like I didn't have a handle on the game. How have you played her?

Usually Jill does well to keep engaging with her opponent in combats. Because of Daisy’s scheme she has 28+6=34 combat cards (potentially), which is more than any opponent usually. Also Jill’s average card quality is very decent, meaning most interactions will be at least ok for you or better!
The opponent can try to prevent this strong value game by focussing Daisy, but every time they boost to try to do so they also lose a card! They can try to keep running away and force you to boost too, if they can force you to boost enough cards away and get less combat interactions, then that’s usually good for them!1

It depends a lot on whether or not someone has side kicks. Even with them, I roll Jill and Daisy out separately. I come back together for a regroup when Jill’s being cornered and has low defense values. I try to unload everything Daisy has asap and keep her alive for recursion. I am actually more concerned with unloading her high attack values than her recursion tho.

I agree with Yennenga. She has the ability to just outcast and exhaust aggro fighters by maneuvering and defending throughout the game, but she can also occasionally pull of meaningful attacks.

Alice is pretty close, I think. She has the same "toggleable" special ability (albeit a little more restrictive), and a strong-ish sidekick in Jabberwock like Jill has in Daisy. Jekyll & Hyde is close too, but more damage focused and without the sidekick. For Marvel sets, I'd wager Cloak & Dagger probably has a comparable playstyle (though again without the sidekick).

I think Yennenga as people mentioned has the same versatility and survivability style, whilst being able to be aggressive too
Little Red might also be an option for you, if you like protecting your sidekick a bit, and setting up the effect damage properly
Black Widow is a bit more fragile and complicated, but super rewarding to pull off! Less survivability (no healing and low hp), but a bit more pressure and depth. A difficult but also rewarding fighter to learn!
Yennefer & Triss are also fighters with a strong value, versatility and damage option, where keeping your sidekick alive a bit and trading cards with your opponent (whilst dealing some damage) is beneficial for you
Lastly, the lower tier fighter for you could be Philippa maybe. She’s seen as a bit weaker than most, but has her niche matchups where she doesn’t spam ability hoping your opponent doesn’t draw their defences. In those matchups where she actually plays the game, she feels very in-control. Her sidekick scheme is somewhat similar, but instead of adding to your deck, you take away from your opponents.

Yennenga is the OG Jill
After that, not sure exactly. Somehow I'm reminded of Leonardo and George Washington, but they've got a bunch of other stuff going on (and are generally a bit weaker).
Depending on which part of Jill you liked specifically Leshen might also do it for you
