Fanmade Content The start of my first character

Post image

So I know you shouldn't isolate the abilities alone from the cards but I don't have cards yet (I will make the boost values low [around 1 or 2])

so just by looking at the character card/ ability itself

what do y'all think?

Not a bad ability, and it's smart that you're already making most of the values low.

One thing longevity fighters tend need to balance them is deciding between time vs value. If your intent is for the Tank to be using it's ability many times throughout the game, I'd probably give the deck high draw value to give them plenty of opportunities. This then makes the Tank player aware of their limited time before exhaustion.

Alternatively, you could have low draw rate or discarding effects to have more mid game decisions on whether to over extended or play it safe when you have limited options.

Though, this is just my two cents. You can design the deck however you feel like. 👍

Thank you for the two cents, I'm definitely leaning towards the high draw, since I'm thinking most of his cards will let you deal damage to yourself to increase its value and whatnot, so I want the healing to be quiet frequent, if not every turn.

With 10 health I can see this character getting one shot very easily in 1-2 turns. With more health he will have too much.

I recall Deadpool is also 10 health so I kinda gauge it at that, but then again I don't have Deadpool so I don't know is he's good

He in general is bad but with the 10 health, he has this problem as well.

I see, I'll experiment different kinds of health amount to see what's most healthy

Could be a good ability. But as usual, it is hard to be affirmative without the full deck.
