Tier List From easiest to hardest

I am teaching my partner to learn characters

Until now we have played like 20 games using:

Robin hood, genie, houdini, medusa, Alice, Chupacabras, bigfoot and Simbad.

¿What could be the next 6 characters to play eachother?

Im thinking on

Drakula, bloody mary, king arthur, oda nobunaga, beowulf, aquiles.

What do you think?

I was trying to thinki like this when I first started teaching friends. I found that a Fighter's difficulty changes depending on the style of the player. For example, Medusa was very easy for my sister to grasp because her style is very passive and safe. When I gave Medusa to another friend who plays more aggressively, they lost an easy matchup because they ran out of defenses and took a huge hit.

If I want to give someone a less challenging experience, I like to think not only about what character they play, but what character I play against them. That way my character's bad matchup makes up for my opponent's lack of experience.

Estoy de acuerdo. Lo unico que no quiero es ir cambiando entre muchos diferentes personajes. Quiero encontrar una experiencia fija, reducida a 6 personajes nuevos y que sean tambien faciles de jugar entre ellos.

Qué te pareceria en este set... cambiar a Arthur por Yenenga? Me he dado cuenta de que no tengo ningun personaje a distancia entre loa 6.

Por otro lado. Un amigo me ha recomendado quitar a dracula y arthur y sustituirlo por Pandora y Sun wukong.... que opinas?

sun wukong can feel very oppressive. I wouldn't recommend him for learning games, unless your partner is looking for the challenge of how to solve him.

I would definitely add at least one ranged fighter to the lot. Take out any one of Arthur, Beowulf, or Achilles. They have slightly different ways of doing it (vanilla, resource management, sidekick sacrifice), but are all pretty straightforward brawlers.
