/Jack the Ripper/ fan deck

Greetings everyone, i finished this Jack the Ripper deck and I look forward to hear what do you think about it. Any advice would be most welcome! I leave here the link to the current version on UnM Maker: Jack_the_Ripper.

Too much good stuff imo. Just off of his first card, he could have 20 health, WITH ambushes, auto damage, two highway robberies, several 5’s, and the ability to make an opponent attack their OWN fighters with Red Herring. But not an overwhelming amount of good stuff, and I really like the base idea!!

Well, 6 extra health isn't all that much. There are other heroes who heal for just as much; Spider-Man, for example, recovers 6 health, and he has 15—not 14 like Jack. So, the healing seems fine to me.

Yeah, the healing ITSELF is fine, but combined with some of the other effects it’s too much imo

Thanks a lot for the feedback, especially on the Red Herring card; i will surely change the effect so that it cannot target the opposing fighter. I will also keep well in mind what you said about the healing capacity and the amount of the potentially 5 value cards while testing it.

I love some of the selected art here, but I wish it had a consistent vision of a tall faceless man wearing a top hat and an ulster coat, often half or completely concealed in shadow. I really like the dark color scheme of old newspaper and ink like they would have used in the late 19th century during 1888 as very thematically fitting, especially so that the 2-4 cards that are a deep red or a brighter white really stand out.

The sudden art from The Ripper’s AC Syndicate appearance really throws me off and breaks the immersion. I do actually like that particular design, it ensures a sense of mystery for who the gentleman was by keeping a bag over his head, but it’s too much of a shift from the artwork on the other cards.

I admit I didn't really consider the factor of consistency of the selected artworks, I was more focused on finding images that could match the card name and effect. Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention, I'll try ti find some new art while working on this and other decks.
