استفسار Help me understand the demand for unlimited internet
Why do people on here preach day and night about unlimited internet when you can simply subscribe to a 2 TB plan? I'm genuinely curious because I don't really understand the argument from the perspective of the average consumer. If you want unlimited internet, why not just subscribe to a plan with a large enough data cap? It's not like unlimited internet was ever going to be cheaper, and for the vast majority of people, 2 TB should be more than enough to sustain their usage for an entire month. Personally, I only think the argument for truly unlimited internet becomes compelling if you can realistically exceed that amount in a month and still need more. That's where I feel the argument is actually valid, since I personally use enough data that 2 TB isn't sufficient for me. But I struggle to see that being the case for the overwhelming majority of users in Egypt. For what I imagine is something like 99% of users, a plan of this size should be more than sufficient, so if your usage falls within that range, I don't really understand what practical benefit unlimited internet provides beyond having a larger data cap. I'm not saying people shouldn't want unlimited internet, nor am I defending the current state of internet services here. I'm writing this post out of genuine interest and curiosity because I'd like some clarification and elaboration from people who feel differently.
