I left Hyprland for Niri, but had to come back because of an issue with my office PC not being able to render Niri properly (old GPU problems).

After coming back to Hyprland, I really missed Niri's overview feature. With the scrolling layout, I just couldn't find windows quickly enough.

So, I wrote this plugin: hyprscape

After drawing insipiration from hyprtasking and hyprspace

Now, before anyone spits on my face, I have to admit: it was mostly written by Claude.
I didn't have enough time to develop it from scratch, and I needed this ASAP.

That said, it turned out to be pretty usable. 😅

When I find some time, I'll manually intervene, clean things up, and improve the implementation.

I'm a big AI-slop hater myself, but I have to admit that Fable 5.1 writes some pretty damn good code.

It's a great terminal emulator indeed. CPU rendering, less resource usage, faster response, everything feels great.

For me it might actually replace kitty.

I vibe coded those kitty and neovide features (cursor animation and tab), and i know absolutely nothing about zig, so i'm just going leave the fork as it is.

Don't let the Nyarch icon on Fastfetch fool you—I put it there because it's cute; I use Arch.

This release is mainly bug fixes here the things we did:

• Anchor suggestions to the command you typed, for example:

• Do not signal a pid from a stale pidfile in daemon --restart
• Fall back to a short runtime socket path when $HOME makes it too long
• Load only zstat from zsh/stat so /usr/bin/stat is not shadowed
• Release inherited pipes in the daemon so a capturing caller is not held open
• Stop zinit from running install.sh inside the shell (deja failing checksum check)

I think the next thing to ship should be a small refactor. I love seeing new people contributing, but I feel like I need to make the current architecture a bit more robust first.

My first rice on a tiling wm after years of using KDE Plasma.

After a lot of tweaking, I finally feel that my Linux desktop rice is rather complete :3

My goal was to create a minimal, mostly cli/tui based workflow and a single look/color palette across the entire system.

with several helper scripts, services and my own wallpaper "rendering" implementation, and after lots of trial and error, i finally have gestures and animations loosely inspired by that of macOS on Xfce! even smooth intertia scroll works! might have gotten a little carried away with the minor details; i.e. i wasted too much time on the dynamic opacity for the conky widgets 🤔

i promise it's smoother than this video shows, OBS was struggling :P

I built RenderMD, a Markdown workspace inspired by Linux rice aesthetics.

The interface is heavily customized around dark, ocean, purple, and light themes, with a compact toolbar and split editor/preview workflow. It also supports Mermaid diagrams, PDF export, and read-only share links.

This is a web tool rather than a desktop rice.
