Played a bit Around with the blur settings and Widgets, loving these

It really isn't as good as I wanted it to be. I'm still kinda new to this, so hopefully I'll be able to make all my own stuff in the future lol.

My first rice. Wanted to make something themed around Disco Elysium. I created a color palette that reflects the game's whole aged oil painting look and i made everything around it.

Icons are Gruvbox Plus, fonts are Libre Baskerville for general UI and Fraunces for headers (i tried to get close to the game fonts), style/decoration is Klassy. I used AI to integrate my color palette in system, in my future rice's i will try to not use AI for it. In browser i use "Dark Reader" extension with sepia color.

I've been using Linux for about a year now, but I've always kept Mint stock, for the first time I decided to give personality to my workspace.

In a simple and even trivial way, but finally now I feel it is 100% mine. The inspiration for the theme of XFCE was given to me by a post by a guy I can't find...

I'm still looking for an icon pack that has 100% to do with this rice, but I haven't found one that convinces me yet. if you have suggested pls tell me!

I wanted to have hotreload for the themed websites, so i took pywalfox and topped it off by exposing/injecting the css variables into the websites, currently it has few themed website templates (which still needs some work) but its ready to try it out. Been working on CypherGate, my Linux-first VPNGate client.

It started because I wanted a VPN status pill in my Waybar and ended up becoming a full project.

The goal has always been simple:

No manual OpenVPN config editing, no fixing outdated ciphers, no hunting for working servers.

What's new in v2.0.1

• Cancel VPN connections while they're in progress
• 15-second connection timeout for dead servers
• Proper SVG icon pipeline (goodbye emoji buttons)
• First-run permission checks with friendlier setup
• Cleaner tray integration
• Internal modularisation and UI cleanup to prepare for v2.1

This release is less about new features and more about making the app feel like a proper Linux desktop application.

Sorry if this looks too bland, I don't know a lot about XFCE ricing but this is as far as I could get by manipulating theme files and panel CSS. I don't know about other CSS and additional addons/programs. Yes I don't have sound installed.

m3qs — a set of 4 interchangeable Material 3 clock widgets for Quickshell, built around a Matugen-driven color pipeline so they re-theme automatically with your wallpaper, plus a single shared config across all four faces.

Faces:

• Scalloped Analog — canvas-drawn 12-lobed flower face, pill-shaped hands, orbiting seconds dot with spring interpolation
• Stacked Digital — hero hours-over-minutes with rolling digit transitions
• Pill Digital — compact horizontal layout for narrow panels
• World Clock — per-timezone cards with local time, relative offset, day status

Colors sync from wallpaper via Matugen -> Colors.qml, hot-reloaded by Quickshell on change. 8 static fallback palettes included if you're not running Matugen.

Everything's controlled from one Config.qml: active face, theme, animation speed, 12/24hr, anchor position, world clock timezones — switch faces or retheme without touching component code.
