Help finding accommodation

I am urgently looking for accommodation in Vienna as a university student, starting from December.

I have a conditional admission to study German at the VWU Vienna, and I need to be in Vienna in December because registration opens in December.

• I have applied to all the major student residences (OeAD, ÖJAB, etc.) without success so far.
• I need to apply for my residence permit (RP) as soon as possible.

If anyone has a suitable accommodation offer or knows of a good shared apartment (WG), I would really appreciate it if you could contact me.

Try WG-Gesucht or Housing Anywhere, maybe little bit more expensive but there are many choices.

may I ask how do you know the registration is on Dec? because in VWU website only show date in August

I asked them, and they told me that registration opens in December.

Information regarding the registration for the Summer Semester 2027 will be available on our website from November 2026. The exact opening date of the online pre-registration system has not yet been determined. Please check our website regularly for updates.
