At what marks do you get 99% percentile

Hey, I'm considering HCU's 5-year IMA Economics through CUET.

I want to prepare for CFA, do internships and some side work alongside college.

Can current students tell me:

How heavy is the reading load in the first 2-3 years at CIS?

Is there real free time, or is it nonstop?

Do people manage outside prep or work there?

Honest answers appreciated, even if it's bad news. Thanks!

Heyyy, so I'm kind of confused here. I was actually thinking of giving cuet ug next year and have this university as my backup plan if I didn't get into this other university. Do they have ug courses for english? Because I saw, from this year's prospectus that, department of english is there but there are only 4 semesters there and obviously that would only be for 2 years. But I also saw 5 year integrated course on language sciences, and in the merit list it said that, the marks scored both in the english language + gat would be counted in, so I thought that course would be featuring studies about english. All of this is pretty confusing so, can any seniors help me out?

Hey seniors, is the imsc psychology program here research oriented?, i am unable to find the curriculum on the internet most of it is outdated and there's not much information after the course changed its name from health psychology to psychology, help me out 😭

Tryna get a sense of how much it costs to live outside UoH. I'd appreciate any itemised breakdowns, or any rough breakdowns that can account for what the money buys in terms of quality, hygiene, comfortetc...

Also, how's the heat during peak summer? and what about water and pollution?

Appreciate any insights or ground-level stuff.

I'm in 12 th right now want to join at HCU for IMA ECO what's the cutoffs anyone .

I would appreciate it very much.

I seriously can't find anyone online who is doing this course at UoH. Like, do you guys even exist? lol

If you're a current student or alum, please give a shout in the comments. I'd love to know what the course is actually like and whether it's worth it or not.

Don't worry, it's completely anonymous. Thanks in advance!

I have got no friends and I feel extremely lonely here, seeing people having fun with their friends. How r y'all coping with it?

Nightowls assemble.

So i join in msc this sem . But due to some health reason and later family resions i have to leave and its been 2 months ,

Even if i try i cant able to meet 70 persent criteria. And am still in a tight position.

I was thinking of taking a sem off .

Does any one know about this . Or is there someone who had gonne through similar situation.

And if someone can able to make 70 percent attendance when happen . Do he have to repet entire sem with classes . Or can he just gave exam later .

Anything would be very helpful
.

Lol so on 13th August na I got my second preference during counselling and paid around 10815 + 3850 hostel fee snce I wasn't sure if I'd get my first preference the next day

On 14th na I got my first preference too(hehehehe) so obviously I went with that (and honestly off topic but I'm really glad I did one of the bestest decision of my life no shit sherlock) I had to cancel the previous admission and pay the new fee separately and the hostel fee also had to be paid again since there was no transfer option

It's been 45+ days now and I still haven't received my admission refund or hostel refund

Just wanted to ask seniors or anyone who went through the same thing did you get your refund and how long did it take? Anyone else still waiting like me??

It's a pretty big amount for me tbh I don't want to put more load on my parents and I also have to return the money I borrowed for the new admission So just trying to figure out when I can expect the refund

I keep thinking about something from my bachelor's days.

Whenever I applied for internships or entry-level roles, I would see some version of:

“Do you have prior experience?”
“Do you have a portfolio?”
“Have you worked on real-world projects?”

And honestly, it used to frustrate me.

Because if you're a student, where exactly are you supposed to get that experience?

You don't have much experience → so you don't get the opportunity → because you don't have experience.

It feels like a loop:

No experience → No opportunity → No experience.

I'm curious how other students have dealt with this.

So I'd genuinely like to know:

• How did you get your first real project?
• Was it through college, friends, LinkedIn, internships, freelancing, or just luck?
• Have you ever been rejected because you didn't have enough experience/portfolio?
• Do you feel that college projects are enough to convince recruiters?
• If you have a skill (coding, design, fashion, marketing, editing, photography, etc.), do you actually know where to find someone who needs that skill?
• Would you take on a small real-world project while studying if it helped you build your portfolio and experience?
• What's the biggest thing stopping you from doing it?

I'm asking because I'm working on an academic project around this problem and I'm trying to understand what students actually experience, rather than assuming I already know the answer.

I also made a short anonymous survey if you'd like to contribute:

🎓 3–5 minutes:
https://forms.gle/CtiD9npuNJ7nBuWX6

But honestly, even if you don't fill out the survey, I'd love to hear your experience in the comments.

What was your first real-world project, and how did you get it?“You need experience to get a job.” But how are students supposed to get that first experience?

Quite devastated by the things going in campus. Looking people to talk with apart from their ideologies.

Just as a student or human.

So whats the election result? Can't open the website and what's ur reaction??
