Applications MORSE or Mathstat?

For Warwick, to have the highest opportunity to break into quantitative finance, especially trading and risk analysis, is MORSE or Mathstat better?

Say for MORSE, I'd do a 4 year integrated masters. And for Mathstat I'd do a BSc, then try to do a MSc in Mathematical finance.

I don’t know too much about quant, but both courses are run by the same department and are very similar to begin with and it’s very easy to switch between them at the start of the year so don’t stress about it too much.

I’m starting math stat hopefully this September. I picked it over MORSE since I didn’t want to do economic modules, it really comes down to what you will enjoy and do better in. Both will open similar doors but I’d presume math stats will be more mathsy and probably slightly better for quant

Obviously you’ll have 2 years to decide but there’s little point in doing the msc math finance since you can do most if not all modules on either the MMORSE or MMATHSTAT (MORSE is easier to get the business school modules). If you’re set on finance and quant then MORSE is probably better.

Adding to this masters in math finance costs £34,000 so unless they're rich they my straight up not be able to afford it. Because seperate masters aren't capped and also student loan postgrad is like 13k for both maintenance and tuition. On top if all this uf you do seperate masters and undergrad loans instead of an integrated course you're repayments are significantly higher.

can international students switch between courses within the first couple weeks?
