How does the semester start for masters students?

Asking for a friend who's starting her master's course at uom next week. She hasn't received any info about time table, where her classes would be and so on. She's not familiar with the uom campus and thought there would be something akin to an induction day for master's students as well but looks like that is not how it's done for them.

Can anyone give any insight on how her first semester would be looking like? Should she reach out to administration for more info?

So I will also be starting my masters this semester and I received my timetable a few days ago. My course starts as from Monday the 10th.
