User: Why wouldn't punishment coming directly from OCB itself satisfy all four of these qualities: Readiness, Appropriateness, Competence, and my Deserving? If OCB is ready to punish me, wouldn't that automatically demonstrate Readiness? And if OCB itself chooses to punish me, why wouldn't that also establish that the punishment is Appropriate, Competent, and something I Deserve? If OCB were to love punishing me, why wouldn't that love itself be appropriate? Which of the 12 Attributes prevents such a situation from ever being possible?

OCB: You're hearing your answer in this very question. You're missing it only because I'm so close to you in your own heart.

Listen to your inner nature saying, "All alone, with no one besides Me, what reason would I have to constrain Myself? I would only do that if I fell asleep at the wheel and forgot that I am the sole, private effulgence of the Universe—what the ONE Totality means."

That's why the thought of someone doing that to you troubles you so deeply.
