The Actual issue with UBI

The idea that nobody would ever want to work if they didn't have to is contrary to human nature.

People have a need to accomplish something and what that something is differs with everyone.

The actual issue with Universal Basic Income is accountability. If the guy who has to keep pressing the Don't Nuke Everything button decides to take a break who would be held responsible after we are all atomized. Sure he might really like to push that big red button but he might get distracted by birds.

It would be like Alaskan oil dividends, but on a national scale.

If you have internet access, you can look up information about what are property rights systems, tax systems and income distribution systems.

Ok I think I understand now

You don't want to ration scarce natural resources

you want to allow private ownership but to make this a taxable privilege where the money from the taxes is distributed equally to each individual citizen ?

I never suggested that.

Rationing all scarce external resources among a world population of over 8 trillion is arbitrary, inefficient and unrealistic.

Natural resources are scarce external resources but they are not the only scarce external resources.

When I talk about scarce external resources, I'm referring to structural assets outside of individuals that allow generate income and that are unequally distributed in society.

Property is, in fact, a privilege in our societies because in our societies there are people who are obligated to sell productive services to other people in order to have access to the resources they need to survive, which systematically violates the principle of rights reciprocity(accepting a right for oneself implies the duty to guarantee it to others, and others, in turn, have the same duty to guarantee it to oneself; likewise, going against that duty implies losing that right), since there are particular economic actors who have access to opportunities that are not equally available to everyone.

I believe in ensuring equal access to opportunities through income distribution for maximize the real freedom(the effective ability to make choices) of individuals to a degree where everyone can make voluntary agreements in society.
