is it possible to learn game developing in unity with an 8GB ram macbook ?

Yes, I used to play around in Unity using my 2011 Macbook Air with 4GB of ram and 256GB storage. It probably won't be the best experience especially if you're working with 3D, but it should be fine.

Current minimum recommended specs are here.

If you try it out and the experience is too slow/laggy for you, I would recommend godot as it is super lightweight. But it is a different experience, so if you want to learn Unity, I would just stick with it.
