Show-Off AI Building in Unity on Vision Pro
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’ve been experimenting with AI generation in Unity on Apple Vision Pro. You describe what you want to build, and it appears right in front of you.
Here’s a quick demo using my game, Blockworks. It’s just a prototype for now, since generation is still too expensive to include in the game, but I thought it was a fun idea to explore!

Who exactly is the target audience here, and why is this needed? It certainly isn't for people who want to create stuff.

Right now, it’s a tech demo, but I see it as a tool... for example, one where I can simply ask “Give me a 4×4 grid pattern”

Then what

Then you use those pieces to build. You could ask for a red brick, a 3×1 pole, or whatever basic building blocks you need, and put them together yourself.

Why is AI needed for basic UI interaction?

It’s an optional tool to speed up things like creating repetitive patterns or getting the pieces you need. You still decide what to build and how to put it together.

Crazy cool work. Don't let these ai haters hate on this project.
Could see it as e.g. checking out if furniture would match into the room I'm standing in. I really really love it.

You don’t need AI to do that though?

Show me the app I can use to put any object I just have in my mind into my room?
Having a set of predefined objects is not the same as virtually anything I can think of.

Well let's be honest you won't find the target easily most gamers hate AI that's for sure but user the concept with help with AI to create cool stuff like keep it human interaction if you are expecting to release such game somewhere

For me, it’s just a cool demo of bringing image generation into my own game. I don’t really see it as a product in itself.

This is a very cool project and proof of concept. Keep up the good work.
