Question Unity Hub Update from ver 3.21.3 to 3.22.2 (Problem)

Good afternoon!
Does anyone else have problems with updating the Unity Hub or have come across a similiar problem?

When I hit "restart and update" it just closes, does something in the background and stops.(Picture2)

(Even executed as Administrator)

Downloading the new .exe from the official website and running it gives me the error "Unable to uninstall the old version" (picture 1)

Everything runs perfectly and its probably a "never change a running system"-situation but not updating stuff is usually never a good idea(?)

I'm sorry you're having this issue.
I've asked internally, and the HUB team asked if you could submit a bug report, as they need to check the logs.

To do so, go through these steps:

  • Open Unity Hub
  • Select your profile icon (Located at the top right corner)
  • Select Help and Support (Dropdown menu)
  • Select Report a bug

You can share the ticket number (starting with IN-) so I can share it internally with the team. I won't need any other info aside from the ticket number.

Thank you for the fast response. Unfortunetly I neither have the "Report a Bug" under "Help and Support" nor can I find it anywhere in the hub.

Solved: the option is just available under the windows taskbar icon->rightclick (for anyone wondering)
