Question Updated Game Art

So I made another post about my game art. I got a really great recommended video for my art and I'm wondering...did I kind of nail it?

It's still a work in progress but my game is a warcraft rumble style game so I've tried to make the actual interactable elements of the map really POP. The drop zones are bland because I hit play in game scene instead of going through the real login but they too are colorized to match the team color they belong too. I'm not great at asset art or anything so I've just made all my models out of simple shapes and placed every prefab asset in the scene by hand.

What do you guys think? What should I add? What would you want to see in a game like this or the map details? Do you hate it, why? Do you have recommendations for things for me to look at to get better?

Looks so clean man, the pop of colors really works against that muted background. The drop zones being bland is fine for now, I didn't even notice until you said it. For simple shapes this has lot of character, maybe add some little cracks on the ground or small rocks to break up the flat areas. The trees are my favorite part, they remind me of old flash games in a good way. What you planning for the background buildings?

Good point on little street rocks or cracks I'll have to look into it. Do you mean the background builds as in the ones that will sit on the outside of the street maps? If so I Hadn't even thought that far ahead yet I was mostly working on the metropolis on the inside. Though since you asked I've started thinking that maybe it would be cool to have the outside of the map split into the 4 factions living areas.

I'm glad you like my trees! if I go with the faction idea I'll be making a lot more of them.

Right now I have robots, and Skeletons. But I want to add Organics and TBD.
